Devil’s Den
Located just six minutes from Blue Grotto, Devil’s Den is as different from the Grotto as you can imagine.
- To start, it is the only site in Florida where you must first go underground to get to the water.
- Light enters through a narrow opening overhead, leading to some very dramatic lighting effects — especially mid-day.
- The Den is home to some incredible rock formations as well as some large and curious fish.
The Den is a popular snorkeling spot — although they limit the number of snorkelers in the water at any time. Snorkelers must also make reservations ahead of time. Scuba divers, on the other hand, are welcome any time, no reservations needed. Diver admission is a little over $40 with tax.
